Coalition for Sound Schools

The Coalition for Sound Schools (CfSS) is a group of Seattle residents with a background in public education who have come together to advocate for the systemic reform of Seattle Public Schools. With declining enrollment, as well as declining student achievement, Seattle district schools are no longer providing the world-class education that our kids deserve. CfSS is pushing for change at the governance level, because the high-turnover rate of superintendents and board members contributes to poor student outcomes and makes district-wide change difficult.

I created a unique mark that represents a colorful group of elements working together to turn the trend line back in the right direction. A colorful and dynamic website with animated infographics help the viewer comprehend the scope of the challenge and invites participation.
