TKCalifornia
Transitional Kindergarten, or TK, is a school grade that bridges preschool and kindergarten for kids who are too advanced for preschool but not quite ready to take the big step to kindergarten. It gives young learners the gift of a little more time, helping them build a strong foundation so they are prepared for future kindergarten success. In California, TK has been expanded to include all 4-year olds by 2024.
A project of Early Edge California, TKCalifornia is an information hub that supports teachers, administrators and parents with great resources and strategies to help them navigate and manage their TK programs. Working with the team from Early Edge, we refreshed the brand with a new, playful identity that captures the essence of the TK experience for young learners. A new ground-up built website features a resource hub and tons of great, easily accessible content.
