Northwest Caster is a supplier of material handling products for industry, providing custom solutions for challenging applications and for specific engineering requirements. Because the complexity of product purchasing often requires consultation and custom designed solutions, the user experience design of the site required a creative solution beyond the usual purchase funnel. Working with development partner Sixteen Penny, we created a commerce framework that allows for the purchase of products via one of three pathways, with or without customer service assistance. The site features robust product filtering, a white paper and specification sheet library and live chat to help customers navigate their purchase experience.
